BLOCK CLUBS & CRIME WATCH GROUPS

A Multipurpose Structure for Stability & Growth

How do I get started?

You may live in an area that already has an active group. Please start out by asking your immediate neighbors, they may be able to tell you. If this step doesn’t give you the information you seek, then contact your Zone Delegate to find out what there is in your area. If there is not already an active group in your area, we can help you organize your first meeting, and provide you information to assist you in planning your first activity. Please provide us with your name and phone number, so we can get in touch with you to help you get started.  Here is the contact information for each zone delegate.

Ed Potts, MKNA Board member and representative for Public Safety has said:

"When people get to know their neighbors, the neighborhood is strengthened. When you band with others, it is a way to give a voice to your portion of the community; you have a way to make sure the city hears your concerns; you have a way to disseminate information; you have a way to effect changes locally; you have a way to maintain the peace and tranquility and be safe; it is USEFUL to be an involved citizen; you need to be organized, because crime is organized.”
