College Avenue Library Events

• Storytime Under the Sea, August 3 at 10:30 a.m. Preschoolers ages 3 - 5 and an adult are invited for stories, songs, crafts and fun!

• Bunny Hug Baby and Toddler Program, August 5 at 10:30 a.m. Babies and toddlers up to age 3 and an adult are invited for an active storytime with stories, songs and crafts to develop a love of books.

• Birthday Bash!, August 7 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Families and children of all ages are invited to celebrate College Avenue's 10th birthday with music, origami crafts (1 p.m.), magic show (2 p.m.), door prizes and refreshments. This event is co-sponsored by the Indiana Regional Origami Network.

• Storytime Under the Sea, August 10 at 10:30 a.m. Preschoolers ages 3 - 5 and an adult are invited for stories, songs, crafts and fun!

• Sugarbook Book Club, August 10 at 6:00 p.m. Adults are invited to discuss romance books that are too hot to handle! The book to be discussed is "Dying Scream" by Mary Burton.

• Bunny Hug Baby and Toddler Program, August 12 at 10:30 a.m. Babies and toddlers up to age 3 and an adult are invited for an active storytime with stories, songs and crafts to develop a love of books.

• Storytime Under the Sea, August 17 at 10:30 a.m. Preschoolers ages 3 - 5 and an adult are invited for stories, songs, crafts and fun!

• Bunny Hug Baby and Toddler Program, August 19 at 10:30 a.m. Babies and toddlers up to age 3 and an adult are invited for an active storytime with stories, songs and crafts to develop a love of books.

• Youth Night at College Avenue, August 19 at 6:00 p.m. Children and teens ages 10 - 19 are invited for fun activities and snacks. Contact the branch for program details.

• Teen Film Series: The Blind Side, August 19 at 6:00 p.m. Teens are invited for a showing of the film, "The Blind Side" (PG-13).

• Drop-In Craft at College Avenue, August 20 During Library Hours. Children of all ages are invited to make a craft to help decorate the branch or to take home.

• Storytime Under the Sea, August 24 at 10:30 a.m. Preschoolers ages 3 - 5 and an adult are invited for stories, songs, crafts and fun!
