There is an Indiana law that permits 17 year olds to register and vote in time for the May primary election as long as they turn 18 on or before the date of November's general election (11/8/11).
The statewide voter registration deadline is just around the corner. If you or someone you know needs to register to vote for the first time or update their registration because they've moved or changed their name, the statewide voter registration deadline is Monday, April 4, 2011.
