Welcome Michael Perry

New Branch Manager of our College Avenue Library
4180 N. College Ave.

Michael has been with the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library for 13 years as a Children's/Youth Librarian and we are so pleased to welcome him to our own College Avenue Library as an Adult Librarian. Meridian-Kessler is 'coming home to the old neighborhood' for Michael, as he lived just east of MK for eight years and his wife, Karen, worked at the old Broadway Library from 1991-93.

Michael is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Art and Master of Library Sciences. He met his wife of 12 years at I.U. and they have two lovely daughters Kaitlyn, twelve and Meaghan, ten. He also serves as a deacon at Allisonville Church.

Please take the time to go over to the College Avenue Library and introduce yourself to Michael. He is already making quite a wonderful impact on MKNA in his new endeavors and has truly made a point in being involved in all facets of our community.
