Keep Indianapolis Beautiful Kicks Off the Great American Clean-Up
Sign Up for Keep Indianapolis Beautiful's
2005 Great American Clean-up!
Program runs April to October 2005
What is it?
You can help us with our community litter clean up, the Great American
Cleanup program. Our community is part of
America's largest litter clean up, involving more than two million
volunteers in over 200 cities each year. The
Great American Cleanup is brought to you locally by Keep Indianapolis
Beautiful in partnership with The City of
Indianapolis, Kroger, Coca Cola. Our national sponsors are Ruffies,
Georgia-Pacific, Pepsi, Lysol, Yard Machines,
AT&T Wireless, Wrigley, Firestone, Waste Management, Motrin IB, and Keep
America Beautiful, Inc.
Why should you do it?
The Great American Cleanup program is an educational, fun, outdoor,
activity! Upon registration, your group will
be provided with trash bags for litter collection, posters to help
announce your event, a Litter Lesson Plan (if
requested) and support assistance should you need help organizing your
cleanup.
What do you have to do?
Simply choose a location that needs to be cleaned up. You provide the
volunteers and trash removal, and we will
provide you with trash bags and up to 30 pair of gloves. Pick a date and a
time, and have a good time picking up
trash and making a difference in your community. For more information,
contact Sarah Graub at 317.264.7555 ext.
