A bungalow initiative for Indianapolis? What is it? A program developed in Chicago to assist home owners in rehabilitating their bungalows in an architecturally and environmentally appropriate way. Both design and financial assistance would be available, based on income and other factors. Please join us on Saturday, November 19th at the Olive Branch Community Church, 5610 N. Broadway, at 10 AM. There will be two sessions. In the morning, the director of the Chicago Bungalow Initiative, Chuck Shanabruck will tell us how the program in Chicago came into being and how it works. Be prepared for a fascinating presentation! After lunch on your own (there are many restaurants in the area), we will return at 2:00 to brain storm about we might get started here.
