A Night to Remember, November 1 - 29 during branch hours. Patrons are invited to view new oil paintings by Skoalar depicting urban themes done in a neo-cubist style, along with a collection of paintings from recent years.

Storytime Under the Sea, November 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 at 10:30 a.m. Children ages 2 - kindergarten and an adult are invited for stories, music and fingerplays.

Hip-Hop and Freestyle Dance Class, November 2 or 16 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Teens are invited to learn hip-hop and freestyle dancing from Nicholas Owens of the Kenyetta Dance Company. Call 275-4320 to register.

College Avenue Kidz Club, November 3, 10 & 17 at 4:30 p.m. Children in grades 1 - 6 are invited to continue their exploration "Under the Sea" with experiments, crafts and activities relating to undersea life.

A Tribute to Harry Potter, November 4 at 4:30 p.m. Children in grades K - 6 and their families are invited as magician Don Miller of FamilyTime "tests" audience members about their knowledge of Harry Potter books and movies. Other wizards will be discussed, including Merlin, David Copperfield, Gandolf, and the wizard of Menlo Park, Thomas Alva Edison. Call 275-4320 to register.

Toddler Storytime, November 9 at 9:30 a.m. Toddlers 13 - 23 months and an adult are invited for interactive stories, songs and activities. Call 275-4320 to register.

Bedtime Storytime, November 10 at 7 p.m. Children ages 2 - kindergarten and an adult are invited to put on their jammies and grab a teddy and pillow for a quiet storytime.

Sugarbook Book Club, November 17 at 6 p.m. Adults are invited to discuss the action romance novel, Morgan's Mercenaries: Heart of the Jaguar by Lindsay McKenna.

Wild About Animals, November 21 at 4 p.m. Children in grades kindergarten - 5 and their families are invited as naturalists from the Indianapolis Zoo present animal artifacts, such as bones, pelts and teeth, to help them learn about animals. Call 275-4320 to register.

Holiday Scrapbooking, November 26 at 10:30 a.m. Adults and teens are invited to showcase the holidays with individualized scrapbook pages highlighting Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or Christmas. Each participant will make one scrapbooking page. Call 275-4320 to register.

Infant Storytime, November 30 at 9:30 a.m. Babies up to 12 months and an adult are invited for interactive stories, songs and activities. Call 275-4320 to register.
