MKNA celebrates the 50th anniversary of the MK Home Tour in October 2023.

The Meridian-Kessler neighborhood is distinctive, diverse and vibrant with more than 6,000 homes and more than 18,000 residents

The entire area was platted and incorporated into the City of Indianapolis.

The first platted neighborhoods began to appear, and the population was approximately 2,500.

In 1989 MKNA started the first curbside recycling program in Indiana. Environmental stewardship has been a pillar of our organization since our inception and continues today.
