America’s longest continually running early music festival announces its 49th season!
The Indianapolis Early Music Festival, running from June 19 through July 12, features music of the Renaissance, Baroque, and Medieval times, played on instruments of the period by artists using historically informed styles and techniques.
The finest ensembles from throughout North America and Europe, will perform at this year’s festival. In addition to enjoying the concert, Festival attendees have an opportunity to meet the performers at post-concert receptions, and hear them discuss their music in pre-concert chats thirty minutes prior to each concert, all in the city’s finest venues.
Tickets are sold individually; by coupon books of six, eight, or ten; or subscription and are reasonably priced around $20. Students, with ID are admitted free of charge.
