Transit Tuesdays
Introducing MKNA IndyGo Transit Neighbors Pete McNamara and ‘the other’ Bart Peterson (not the former Mayor of Indianapolis!). Pete and Bart have been volunteering with IndyGo for over three years providing public awareness via booths at various public events, riding bus routes throughout Marion County to share schedule/bus stop changes, and even directing riders to the correct bays at the Julia Carson Transit Center during construction upgrades.
Living in Meridian-Kessler for over 26 years, it seemed a natural fit for Pete and Bart to apply to the newly formed IndyGo Transit Neighbors program. Their responsibilities include working within our neighborhood to spread the word and answer questions about transit services and projects. We are grateful for their service to the neighborhood!
We are excited to launch “Transit Tuesday” in which we post short “IndyGo Now” videos on one Tuesday per month right here on our website for easy access. Each video will feature updates on transit services and projects across the entire city. Welcome, Bart & Pete!
